Pisa + More Cinque Terre, Italy
We do not have much to say about Pisa, since we were not there very long. We spent maybe an hour in the city and then trained back up to Cinque Terre. It is definitely an experience observing everyone, from young to old, trying to hold up or kick down the tower! Of course we joined in on the festivities!
The Leaning Tower of Pisa
We each take our turns holding it up!
Boy he is talented!!
Pisa was definitely a fun morning adventure! It is impressive how they have managed to keep this tower standing. Not only is it leaning, but people can pay to climb to the top!
After Pisa we headed back to Cinque Terre to take advantage of the nice weather and the incredible water that we did not get enough time to enjoy yesterday! Knowing about The Way of Love trail this time...we decided to buy a lock to secure our love, lol! Oh we are so cheesy I know!
Woohoo we found a lock! They were actually really hard to find.
Us with our lock!
We took a while finding the perfect spot for our lock, but we found it! The view our lock gets...pretty lucky!
Click! SJ 2 EURO 2012!
All locked up!
Throwing away the key!
NOW time to go swimming...but watch out for Jellies!
Eek...pretty scary. They range from harmless to mild stinger to stinger. We do end up seeing a few...they were all Mild Stingers but still extremely scary!
Spent the day swimming and floating in Manarola
JELLLLLY! Don't worry we did not get stung!
Manarola again!
Hung around for the sunset!
This is how the locals bring their boats up from the water everyday! It is quite a process to bring them up, spray all of the salt water off, cover them and park them in the street until the next morning.
Manarola at night!
Next Stop: ROME!
